Using iVDR As a library for storing favorite content

In the analog TV era, VCR tapes were used to record and store favorite TV programs. The iVDR has made it possible to save long TV series on one disk.
The recording capacity of one 1-TB iVDR is equivalent to about 372 VCR tapes*, 214 DVD-Rs** or 40 Blu-ray discs***. A long TV series saved on one disk uses very little space and is easy to search for specific episodes.

Equivalent number of media units required for recording the same capacity

*VCR tape: 2.7 GB—calculated as equivalent to 3 Mbps x 120 minutes
**DVD-R: Single-sided, single-layer—calculated as 4.7 GB per disc
***BD-R: Single-sided, single-layer—calculated as 25 GB per disc
